Snow Storm Day 4

On our final snow day, Hailey and were finally able to build snowmen.  The snow had been to flaky the previous days, but the sunshine helped all of that today!

Snow Storm Day 3

Good morning!  The snow has finally stopped and Jeff has headed back to work, so its just Hailey and I for the day.

We had the most fun that I've had in a while by sledding down several hills in the neighborhood.  I'm so glad that we bought a sled this year.  After a couple of hours we were thoroughly exhausted!

Snow Storm Day 2

Still snowing on day 2!  We got out and shoveled some while Hailey jumped and played in the snow before coming in to have some hot chocolate.

We built a doggie run for Holly and Gracie out of saw horses, ladders and wood.  It worked perfect for the dogs to run out off the porch and use the potty without having to constantly shovel for them.

Snow Storm Day 1. January 22nd

We luckily had both girls for the big snow storm of the season and they were determined to get out there in the thick of it even when it was coming down.

The girls played for almost two hours outside without a single complaint! 

Unfortunately we had to take Emily back to her mom's house in the midst of the snow.  The ride was crazy with at least 10 inches on the ground.  Jeff had chains on his truck and we made it safely there and back. 

It's a New Year!

We took a little hike on the Appalachian Trail with this cute girl to celebrate the new year.  

And then there are these two goofs with a selfie stick ;)  love it! 

Jeff and I celebrated New Year's Eve by staying in and having a few drinks and tiramisu.  The drinks led to games like charades or anything we could download and play from our phones.  Good times.

I think someone was happy to crush the tiramisu I made.

I made this frame menu for us to use to plan our meals for the week. So far it is working out well!
