First Visit with Santa!

We hung out at Grandma's house for a little bit this weekend and watched part of the Tech football game.  Finley loves watching Gracie and Holly just as much as she loves watching Marley and Jack! 

Saturday morning, we picked up Grandma to go see Santa for the very first time at Dominion Outdoors!  There were 12 people ahead of us in line and not a single one cried until we walked up. Ha!  Finley needed a nap so I think that was part of the problem.  Grandma and I snapped 3 pictures in about 2 seconds before Finley was able to look at Santa, take a look at Mrs. Claus and then start crying.  I don't blame her one bit.  :)

Afterwards, we headed to Staunton to do some shopping.  Finley slept in the car while I grabbed her a Christmas present from Pufferbellies.  Grandma then got to do some shopping while we ate and played in the car:)

Happy Turkey Day!

Finley and I started the day at Grandma's house trying to get a Thanksgiving photo shoot done.  The weather did not cooperate so we had to try to do pictures indoors which was difficult.  It's so hard to get a good background and get the lighting correct inside. Lucky for us this little cutie looks good no matter where you put her!

Finley and I headed to Station 11 for Thanksgiving dinner.  It is the first time that Jeff has had to work on Thanksgiving since we've been together so this was a first for me.  Everyone brought something from home and the guys did a nice job with everything else at the station.  We were only interrupted with a couple of calls.  Finley really enjoyed seeing all the new faces and scenery too.  She had her own little Thanksgiving meal of chicken and sweet potato dinner.

I love how these two have the exact same expressions!

Finley fell asleep during dessert.  Unfortunately, Daddy got a call so she woke up way too quickly.

Attempted Christmas Card Pictures

Trying to take pictures of a 7 month old, two tweens and two adults without someone blinking, not smiling, rolling over, a dog running through AND having the light right is quite a feat.  We tried and tried and got frustrated and laughed and so on.  We ended up a few good ones and plenty of memories! 

This one isn't bad other than the lighting....
