Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving started out with a trip to Rowe's with my parents, Mike and Becky.  Even though it felt like our meal took forever, it was quite yummy.  Aftewards, Emily went home and Jeff and I went to his parents house and then went hunting for a couple of hours.

Christmas Decor

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Yep, we are getting everything up before Thanksgiving!   I think Tank is loving every minute of it.

Pre-Thanksgiving

We made our own little Thanksgiving dinner ahead of time since we knew we wouldn't have a lot of time with the girls.  Extra turkey never hurts either!

I also took Emily to get her flu shot this week, so we stopped by Kline's to get some ice cream since she did so well!

While we had the girls, we bought them a little tree for their bedroom and let them decorate it.  They have slept with it on every night since putting it up!

They both completed the annual Kline's coloring contest and turned in their entries for free ice cream as well.

Oh and there was the "Super Moon" this week!  I coudn't ever get a good picture of it, but we looked at it several nights in a row!

That Time of the Year!

We broke out all of our hunting gear and got ourselves organized and ready for the next several weeks!

Jeff was able to hunt several times because of muzzleloader season before I could get out there, but we had a good first day in the stand even though we didn't shoot anything!

You can't beat the sunrise from our stand!

Happy Birthday Tank and Jack!

First- This is Luella, a 9 month old bear dog who didn't pass her hunting test (thankfully!).  I almost took her home with me to foster and/or adopt on two occasions, but luckily another hound loving family ended up adopting her!  What a cutie!

Meghan and Chris were in town for a weekend, so we met up for dinner one night!

Tank celebrated his 10th birthday and Jack celebrated his 9th birthday with some ice cream and treats!  We all know that vanilla ice cream is Tank's secret addiction.  These pictures remind of the the illustrations in the Pokey Little Puppy book!
