Grandma's Birthday

 So many blurry pictures!  Finley is moving around like crazy these days so it's hard to get her to sit still enough for a picture.  She loves going on walks with the dogs, riding around in her stroller in the grocery store and sleeping in our arms.  Her hands are always in her mouth these days and there is plenty of drool to go along with those hands.  She is still staying home with Dada while I am work which has been so nice as part of our transition. 

While Jeff was at work this weekend, Finley and I took Mom to the Bistro in Staunton for lunch.  We sat outside and ate while Finley played in her carseat.  She managed to make it through lunch without crying so we headed to Pufferbellies to check out the toy store for the first time.  She took in all the sites and sounds and Mama picked out a set of soft blocks for her.  She LOVES playing with them, shaking, turning and looking at them.

First Day of School 2019

Mama started her 19th year of school this week!  It is still really hard to be away from blue eyes, but at least the first week went well.  Finley made one more trip to finish up some things in my room before all the germs returned.  She is going to be Mommy's helper in a few years. :) 

She is still keeping Mama up at all hours of the night.  Luckily I have lots of trash television to watch and coffee to drink in the morning.  Pumping at school while with the return of kids is an adjustment.  I had to go to a designated room the first couple of weeks due to the altered schedule.  Packing up pumping supplies, setting up in the room, and then returning and refrigerating everything all while I have someone covering my class has been an adventure to say the least.  It is the most stressful part of the day for sure.
