Two Weeks Old!

Finley girl is two weeks old today!  Unfortunately, we made a trip to the pediatrician this morning just to make sure she didn't have thrush.  I was having some symptoms and little girl was extremely fussy yesterday, cluster feeding from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Ugh! We saw some white on her tongue as well, but there wasn't much there when we went to the doctor.  Dr. H called in a prescription just in case and luckily we haven't had to use it.  Finley has gained back all of her weight and then some, weighing in at 7 lbs 2 oz.

So far today has been much better, so it must have just been a growth spurt or fussy day.  Kelley Hathaway brought us dinner - wings, rice, salad and crumb cake.  Dinner was delicious and it was so nice to catch up with her after so many years!  Teaching her kiddos this year enabled us to reconnect.

Last week Beth Kuhn (teacher from school) and Amy Camblos brought us dinner as well!  Not only has it been nice to not have to worry about cooking and cleaning, but some other adult socialization always helps!  Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures when they were here.  I'm not busy or anything. ;)

Skin to Skin

We've been trying to do more tummy time and mommy has been trying to pump every morning so that we have a bottle or two for later in the day if needed.  Finley hasn't quite got the hang of the bottle yet and chokes because it comes out so fast.  We are slowly working on it and hopefully she will figure it out soon.

Little miss liked her second bath a little more than the first and loved the warm water.  It's just those minutes before and after that have her screaming her little face off.

Love those forehead wrinkles...like a little chimpanzee

Love this face that she makes all the time!

Look at that Face!

She loves her hand beside her face.  I think that's how she must have been in my belly!

Burp clothes made by Karen Moore- or blanket because she is so tiny!
