Why is it still cold in the mornings?!

We really shouldn't still be putting on our hats to walk the dogs at the end of April, right?!  Ugh!  My little helper loves to try to help when putting leashes on.

Busy looking for snails and caterpillars today!

Our picky eater decided she wanted to try a banana today and actually ate some of it "like a monkey."

Christina sent this cute cookie/cupcake baking Play Doh set for Finley's birthday.  She has been enjoying it!

We are still throwing food.  GRRRR.  Poor Jack- look at his back!

We have started pulling things out for the beach - an early beach trip this year to treat my mom for Mother's Day.  It's the only year we've been able to go in May because I can actually teach from the beach!

Finley is more than a little excited to "build sandcastles, see seagulls, splash in the waves."

Yep - she has gone through all those books before bedtime.

And, again and again...every night.

Puzzles and magnatiles.

Playing with shapes!

Chasing a caterpillar around the yard. :)

I made her get off right away...this kid!

New Truck!

What's that they say about not signing important documents after anesthesia? haha.  After my colonoscopy, we traveled to Orange to pick up our new truck.  It finally came in after months of waiting!  Even though we recently purchased the last truck, this one had so many more features that we wanted; including rear AC which is so important with Finley in a car seat.  I'm just thankful that it came in before the beach even though our truck topper won't be in before then.

Check out that tailgate too!  I foresee soccer games watched from the truck in the future.

Colonoscopy Prep

Finn is still enjoying the decorations from her party and so is Jack:)

Mama hard at work in the basement.  It's hard to believe it has been 13 months since I have been in the school for class!

Daddy is hard at work too.

All while Finley has fun at YaYa's house.

We are in the habit of reading lots and lots of books before bed.  Finley loves to sit down and read to herself for the last twenty minutes.

This is my "I am hungry and have 27 more hours to go before real food" look.  Ugh. Colonoscopy is scheduled tomorrow.  It has been 3 years since my last one when they removed a polyp.  The colonoscopy itself is super easy, but it is the prep that stinks!

This time I could not get warm after I finished my second gatorade full of miralax.  The chills were awful.  The nurse told me that this happens to a lot of people.

Finley loves to play "ghost" at night before bed.  She runs around naked, puts a blanket over her and then runs around saying "ooooohhh, it's a scary ghost."

Colonoscopy is done and no polyps!  I am on the every two year plan now because of my genetic testing.
