Getting Beach Ready

Finn has enjoyed some time with YaYa in the pool! 

She found all of her beach toys in the garage and started lining them up for her beach trip! 

We had to do one last harvest of the garden before we leave for the beach in the morning.  Finn is a good helper!

She loves pretending to pick up poop on our walks. ha! 

Cheerios or chocolate mini wheats for our morning walks.  

And this is what happens each night - reading books, books, books!!

 

Last Day of Swim Lessons

 Finley had her last day of swim lessons and unfortunately wasn't feeling it.  I think her belly was bothering her so she didn't have her best day.  Thankfully she still wants to do them again in the future! 

Lots of workouts, ice cream at Kline's, and sidewalk chalk have been filling our days:)

4th of July 2021

We spent 4th of July at home playing outside, inside my car as usual, and then grilling our dinner.  YaYa came down for dinner and we got to spend some more time outside!

I tried to make some small trifles for us...they were pretty yummy! 

Of course right when we went to bed the fireworks at the airport started going off so we were able to jump up and see those.  Luckily they did not wake up Finley. 

 

4th of July Crozet Parade

 I am personally in love with each of these photos.  Finley's dress was perfection! It doesn't get much more American than a hometown 4th of July parade.  I remember going to the parade and fair afterwards in middle and high school.  I hope that we can continue to make this a family tradition.  We thought the noises and people may be too much for Finley, but she had the time of her life.  She loved all of the music and people.  She talked about the parade for weeks afterwards and still loves her flags!
