Walks and Neigh Neighs

Check out those curls after sleeping for an hour on Dada this morning.

The balls are a great distractor to get me through my workouts, but then I am left picking up 100 balls afterwards.

No sure about trying ravioli for the first time. Ha!  She ended up eating a couple though.

This guy has been undergoing the intense process of applying for the Battalion Chief position.  He had to write a paper, run scenarios, do several interviews, etc.  It took about a month to do all of it and included lots of extra time going to work.  Fingers crossed as we wait for an announcement!

We are still loving all of our evenings outside!

How sweet are these two?

We've started going on walks every night without the stroller and oh my how this girl can walk!  She walked all the way up to YaYa's house on the own the first night.  It is so amazing to watch her navigate the world and explore all of the new things she sees from this level.  Whether she is pointing out flowers or cracks in the road, it is a joy to see things through a child's eyes.

Bath time and playing with her letters and numbers is still at the top of her favorites list.

When you're up before the sunshine.

Elmo gets ready for his workout too! haha

Sweet, sweet sleeping baby.

I love those rosy cheeks and curly hair that she wakes up with every day!

My latest mask....soooooo much better than all of the others!  This one has a metal nose piece that you can form around your nose and it doesn't slip off!

Watching the deer.

Let's "wok"!

Bee watching.

We took a quick field trip next door to Pam's farm.  Finley got to see Tal, the oldest horse, and all of the chickens and a cat.  The chickens were her favorite!

When Dada has to carry you back home from a walk.

No Sleep and Sick Dog

This child is definitely going through the 18 month sleep regression.  She has been waking up multiple times every night and sometimes as much as every hour and half to two hours.  That makes for some falling asleep in my lap and a very tired Mama.

Finn loves wearing her boots at night. HA!  I can't ever get a good picture because of the light and how fast she moves.  She was trying to make an escape this evening to go for a walk in her boots at bedtime.

Have a mentioned that she is a climber too?

Poor Jack has been having a rough time between the cancer on his leg and his back/hips hurting.  I had to get some pain meds for him, but at least they are starting to help.

Marley's only pain is from Finn chasing him all over the house.  She loves him so!

Don't all toddlers count tomatoes on the counter?

Now can Mama get some sleep too, please?

There is lots of pretending to go "night night" lately.  So cute!

Finley likes to visit our neighbor's yard to see their bunny statues.

Happy girl at YaYa's house.

Let's throw all the animals out of the crib and take off our sleep sack instead of going to sleep.  ugh!

Blue eyed baby:)

Mama's helper, getting ready for a walk.

New toy - pretty easy for this smart girl.

Aunt Jenn came over the teach Emily how to crochet.  They spent a lot of time on the deck practicing.  Finn loved all of the fun stuff to get into!  MeeMee and PawPaw also stopped by!
