Happy New Year 2019!

We spent the end of our break shopping for deals and playing with my new Christmas present, a Cricut.  Jeff insisted that we put the very first thing that I made, a monogram for him, on his computer even though I messed up the placement of the vinyl so it is missing a little piece.  I am excited about all of the crafting possibilities! 

We also found lots of after Christmas deals, including Baby Snead Christmas outfits for next year that were 90 percent off!!

New Year's Eve included a balsamic pork roast, black eyed peas, and fried cabbage.  There wasn't any drinking going on here either and Jeff had to wake me up at 11:45 to make sure I didn't miss the ball drop! 

 Don't make me go back to work. :(

Christmas 2018

Our annual Christmas Eve tradition included the dogs opening their presents and Emily getting a pair of pajamas.  We started off our Christmas with presents at our house, then headed to Grandma's for brunch where the girls opened their presents.  Afterwards we went to Jeff's parents for lunch and more gifts and then finally back to my mom's house to do our gifts and dinner that evening.  It was a long day, but not rushed at all.  Baby Snead even got her first Christmas presents from Grandma :)

Someone was tired.....7:00 pm and she was sound asleep with Marley. 

SBL owner's Rodger and Cindy found this Navy photo of her father and just happened to notice that in the signatures on the back was Dennis G. Stokes of Charlottesville.  They called my mom to find out if he was related and sure enough, this is my grandfather.  He is on the first row, second to the left of the sign.  How cool is that?
