This week we had our 20 week ultrasound and everything about you looked and measured perfect! We found out that you are a GIRL!!! This had been our thought from the very beginning so we weren't even surprised to find out. In fact, I checked my pinterest board for "baby crochet" items that I was saving for Aunt Jenn to make you some outfits and there wasn't a single boy item on the board to delete.
The only issue right now is that my placenta is low lying so they will check that again in 8 weeks and make sure that it has moved. It has an anterior placement which makes it really easy to feel all of your kicks and punches! Daddy was able to feel your kick for the first time right after our appointment and he was shocked at the strength! I'm not sure you liked all that prodding so you were moving a ton! You've been waking me up in the middle of the night with all of your movement. Let's hope you get that out of your system now so you aren't up all night once you arrive.
We announced your gender to Emily and Hailey and Grandma on Saturday and then had to wait to see Jeff's parents because of the snow storm. Everyone is very excited!
