32 Weeks Pregnant

32 WEEKS

Baby Size: Baby Snead is the size of a cantaloupe, 3.5-4 lbs, 16-17 inches long
Craves: solid milk chocolate Easter bunnies, cadbury eggs
Dislikes: not a lot on this list other than ground turkey which I haven't wanted at all through pregnancy
Symptoms: back pain, sore feet
Momma Weight: 160

Baby has been hiccuping multiple times each day which warranted a google search and then a doctor's appointment.  I was hooked up to a monitor for 20 minutes and movements/heartbeat were recorded.  Of course she was hiccuping when I got to the doctor but then stopped before being monitored.  Everything looked good and Dr. Hoover reassured me that I can always be hooked up during appointments for peace of mind.  I also have some diastisis recti (ab separation), so I've been trying some kinesio tape to see if that will keep it from getting worse.  It doesn't cause any issues now, but I will have some work to do after baby girl is here to bring them back together.

I am still going to PT once or twice a week for my back and it seems to help at least for a few days.  Baby girl is still moving like crazy and feels like she has extra long legs and arms by the way she stretches out!

Daddy and I also worked on some onesies to this week!  It has been so much fun to come up with designs and then use the easy press to transfer them to the onesies.

School Baby Shower

Baby Snead felt the love from everyone at school this week!  Brandi and Jennie converted their room for our little party during our planning period and it was just lovely.  It was so nice to see some retired teachers who were able to come back to celebrate!  Due to everyone's schedules people just had to pop in and out of the room, but it worked well.  I had to wait to open presents until I got home and Jeff could be involved which made for a fun Saturday morning.

Sarah and Pinkie came back to celebrate!

Margaret showing off her bump too.

31 Weeks Pregnant

31 WEEKS

Baby Size: Baby Snead is the size of a coconut, 3.2 lbs, 16 inches long
Craves: salads, chocolate (easter candy is out now!)
Dislikes: not a lot on this list
Symptoms: back pain, sore feet
Momma Weight: 159

Everything looked good at our appointment this week.  Baby's heartbeat was 135 and I am measuring right on track.  I was not a fan of the new doctor I met so I am hoping she is not the one on call at the hospital!  I've really liked everyone else so far, so fingers crossed.

This week I felt hiccups for the first time.  They only last about five minutes but even woke me up in the middle of the night  Baby is starting to get cramped in there so I feel more pressure with movement and less hard jabs than I did before.  It is still clear that there is a butt protruding on the left side of my belly button and it becomes even more lopsided and prominent when she moves!

You can see the left side poking out some even while in the car

Happy Valentine's Day!

Even though Jeff is not a fan of Valentine's Day, I love to make some homemade cards and have a few treats!  These are the cards I made for Emily and my mom.  I also picked up some fun cupcakes on the way home!

30 Weeks Pregnant

30 WEEKS

Baby Size: Baby Snead is the size of a bunch of broccoli, 3 lbs, 16 inches long
Craves: fruit, juice, chocolate
Dislikes: not a lot on this list
Symptoms: back pain, sore feet
Momma Weight: 158

I've started physical therapy twice a week for my back pain and it is really helping a lot.  I get a massage each time I am there to loosen up all the tight muscles and then have stretches to do at home.

Megan and Amy sent out my baby shower invitations this week....how cute are they?! I am getting excited!

Happy 40th Birthday to Me!

Having a Tuesday birthday allowed me to string out a few celebrations:)  While Emily and Hailey were here over the weekend, we went to Cracker Barrel for pancakes, I opened my gifts and baked myself a from scratch lemon cake which was delicious.  I got some more fun accessories including a hot press for my Cricut as well as a gift certificate for a massage! :)

Then Monday night I went to Outback with my mom and Mike to celebrate both of our birthdays.  Jeff and I ended our celebration with dinner in Harrisonburg at The Local Chop House and Grill which was amazing.  We both got steak and some awesome side dishes before splurging on a creme brulee and bread pudding for dessert.  I've been wanted to try this restaurant and I'm so glad we did.  It might be tradition from here on out!

It may have taken me 40 years, but this year my baby wish is FINALLY coming true!
