After a whirlwind 36 hours, we made it to our first fall beach trip! We were supposed to be headed to Nags Head with Grandma and Paw Paw but the realty company called on Thursday and said that our house had water damage from the recent hurricane. They did not have another comparable house so we frantically started search from Nags Head to Emerald Isle. After a crazy Friday at school while trying to search online and call places, we got a deal on a house with a heated pool in Emerald Isle. I think it turned out to be a blessing because it was a chilly week but much warmer there. We did a quick celebration for Hailey's birthday before heading out Saturday morning. Finley was super excited when we arrived and she saw bunk beds, etc. The house ended up being the perfect size for everyone. There was a game room downstairs and extra fridge. Our favorite park ended up being the tiki bar and pool! We spent hours each day in the pool or pool side. Finley LOVED the water and I am so glad we got her a puddle jumper and unicorn float that she could enjoy without someone holding her the whole time.
