Bugg's Island
Jeff, his dad and some other friends went on their annual trip to Bugg's Island. Other than a crazy tan on his feet from the shoes he was wearing and some wind, it sounds and looks like they had a great week!

Science Fair for Emily
We also had to work on Emily's science fair project over spring break. I think we all enjoyed testing whether flowers absorb more water when placed in warm or cool water. She wrote up the entire project on notebook paper and then we spend some time picking out decorations for her board and typing everything up. Good job, Em!

Spring Break 2016
We had a very busy spring break which included working in the garden, wedding dress hunting, wedding ring shopping, and watching Gracie and Holly while my parents went to the Duke Cancer Center in hopes of finding out something new about my dad's cancer.
Oh yeah, and Jeff had an endoscopy to try to figure out why he keeps getting food stuck in his throat. Good times. The best part was listening to him talk when he was coming out of anesthesia. Too bad I forgot to record it!
There was also some grilling for dinner and lots of photos of the dogs because that's what I do while my fiance cooks;)
And we did take an afternoon to go over to the sportsman's club to fish for a bit and try to figure out if it was a good spot for our wedding ceremony.
