Summer Break for the Girls

The girls got out of school on May 23rd, while I have to suffer through until June 9th.  This means they got to spend four days with Jeff at home and some time with Grandma.  I don't think they were complaining!  They bought some water toys with their piggy bank money at Walmart and had fun filling water balloons and soaking each other.  Of course they always have fun with Grandma!  They went to the park and rang the bell for PaPa, went to Kline's, played Wii and wore Grandma out. :)

Jeff's 41st Birthday and Memorial Day!

Happy, happy birthday to my love!  We didn't do much on his birthday, but he did get new golf shoes and a golf shirt for when we make it to the golf course.  

Emily and Hailey came over for Memorial Day and we did the traditional thing to do and grilled up some burgers and dogs.  Jeff hung string lights on the screened porch a while ago, but we just started using them since the weather has been better and the porch is nice and clean. 

The girls started calling Jeff "Big Gym" after hearing a story about how someone at Nationwide (when he was helping my mom get her insurance straight) mistakenly called him "Jim" and even after trying to correct the name, he continued on with "Jim.  The girls decided it should be spelled like the gym though and it stuck.

Mother's Day

We made breakfast for Grandma for Mother's Day.  Yes, that's a lot of pancakes.  We freeze them for the week! The girls made us both cards which were awesome! 

Jeff and I ended up getting two hydrangeas and a peony for me.  I've wanted peonies forever and didn't get them in my wedding bouquet, but the day finally came for me!

Longest Uno Game EVER

We aren't sure what we did wrong, but we tried playing Uno and the game was never ending!  I think we were playing for hours without a winner.  That didn't stop the girls from enjoying it though!
