Pre-4th of July

We finally got some rain followed by a beautiful rainbow.

The neighborhood behind us does fireworks every year which are huge and so easy for us to see! However, this year they started early in the week and woke Finley up as soon as I put her down. Jack went outside and howled at them so we were all up for longer than I would have liked. I guess we will have more to look forward to this week.

Sleepy girl. Well, until you put her down somewhere else.

Teething?

We think we have a teether and a clogged tear duct....lots of chewing on hands, drooling and her poor right eye is pooling tears and yucky when she wakes up. Thank goodness the eye doesn't seem to be bothering her at least.

Milk Drunk and Poopy Diapers

How sweet and cute is a baby fresh out of the bath?! Love her so much!

We've been doing lots of reading during the day, but especially before bedtime. Finley loves looking at the pictures and squeals at them!

Sweet Summer Time, 2 Month Dr. Appt

I've been able to do a little reading and relaxing outside when Finley is willing to nap for a few minutes. It's definitely more difficult than it used to be! I'm also trying to acclimate her to the hot weather so the beach won't be a shock to her system. We've been watching the deer, checking the garden and going on walks.

Finley had a great check up! She weighed in at 11 lbs 5 oz. Head circumference was 15.25 inches and length was 21.75 inches. We increased her zantac slighty but other than that everything was good! She did well with her vaccinations too!
