Spring Time Fun

Hailey and Emily had some time off during their Spring Break, a week earlier than mine, so we tried to make the best of it!  

Soccer game wore Emily out and Hailey wasn't feeling well.

We made a trip to Bass Pro to look at boats and other fishing stuff.  The girls loved the elevator, fish and getting to eat lunch by the aquarium.

We also made time to start working on the garden.  Emily got her workout in by hauling the soil!

We expanded our raised bed and made it look a little nicer this year.

Emily's 10th Birthday

Emily turned 10 today! We celebrated with lunch at Wright's Dairy Rite with Grandma.  Emily had a yummy hot dog and ice cream of course.  Afterwards we went back to the house for a "Spring/Butterfly" theme birthday party that I threw together.  Emily was pumped about the decorations and the scavenger hunt that she got to figure out, well other than the popping of the balloon!
