First Day of School 2020!

 Pictures are in reverse order again...Poor Finn had a rough day.  It started out okay, but she did not nap well at YaYa's house and was extremely fussy and "sick" looking by the end of the day.  We thought it was her teeth, but stay tuned....it wasn't.  

We let the poor baby listen to some Super Simple Songs videos for a few minutes just to get her to relax. She loves Old MacDonald and 5 Little Ducks. 

Jeff took Emily to Lake Anna during the day since they no longer go to the Daddy/Daughter Dance.  They didn't have much luck fishing, but ran into John and Emily got to do a little swimming.  

I started out the day by getting dressed and putting on make up.  That was a change for sure! haha.  Here is to year 20!  Crazy, right?!

Finley was ready for her first day of school at YaYa's house. :)

Despite Finn feeling terrible, she a good start at YaYa's and of course had a blast playing in her sunroom which looks more and more like a playroom.  I had a LONG day of being on Zoom.  6th graders have never used Schoology before, so it was a learning experience for us all, ALL DAY LONG.  There were a few technological issues which we figured out, but the main frustration was being "on" all day.  We are supposed to do 35 minutes of direct instruction and then give them time for asynchronous work, but I ended up being on most of the block just because everything was so new and there were so many questions.  I am hoping that part improves with time!
