Attempted Easter Pics

I had been waiting for a pretty day to attempt some Easter pictures, but unfortunately it was really sunny at the same time so our pics didn't turn out great.  Oh well!  I love her smocked dress for Easter either way!  My mom and I took Finley to Ridgeview Park because there were some pretty flowers and that's where we took her Easter pictures last year. 

Unfortunately while we were gone, Jack fell and couldn't get up and then in turn had diarrhea all over himself and the floor.  When my mom and I returned home he was clearly in a lot of pain and could not get up.  It took me an hour to get him up and outside.  Jeff had to come home from work to help with him and the clean up.  It was all around an awful evening of trying to clean floors, clean Jack and get meds in him, and get Finley fed and to sleep.  Thank goodness my mom was here to help! 

Oh and yes, I dropped a plate that shattered at the same time Jeff was scrubbing between the planks and using a shop vacuum.  UGH!

Poor boy was completely worn out and so sore for a few days.  

Megan and the boys sent Finley a package of her favorite things - BOOKS!  She was over the moon going through all of the books:)  Of course this turned into reading the same ones over and over again like she always does before she moves on to some new ones. 

Every walk that we go on these days involves looking for worms and throwing them back into the grass.  Finn loves looking at them, but she has yet to pick one up herself.

Why do we have to lick Play Doh?! 

This smarty pants knows about 20 different species of birds and can name them.  She can also identify many by their songs.  She just happened to show us that the two bird books she has at YaYa's house both have owls.
