Ahhhh, green and red buds are popping!
We took a fishing pole to the lake to see if we could catch a fish for Finley to see. She was so excited about seeing them but wanted them to go back in the water. What a beautiful afternoon!
We put two of these little guys in the water. They were the size of a quarter and almost got squished on the path.
Grilling season has begun!

When I asked Finley what she wanted for her birthday she said pink Elmo cupcakes, so I had to change my plan a bit and make these for her.
Her last night as a ONE year old! So crazy how quickly the time has flown by!
When I have said my evening prayers,
And all my clothes are on the chair,
And Mama switches off the light,
I'll still be 1 year old tonight,
But from the very break of day,
Before the children rise and play,
Before the darkness turns to gold,
Tomorrow I'll be TWO years old!
