Dr. Hostetter said everything looked great at her 4 month appointment! She is still having issues with reflux and is certainly going through a sleep regression, but other than that she is perfect. She has a big ole noggin!
Weight: 13lbs 14oz (48%)
Head: 16.5 inches (14 %)
Length: 23.5 inches (84 %)
We got the go ahead to try solid foods at this appointment so we stopped by the store and got some organic carrots on the way home. Finley got a teaspoon down and made some hysterical faces in the process!
Although she seems to like the taste, she still pushed a lot back out with her tongue. We also tried oatmeal cereal, but she did not have bowel movement for almost a week after that. Ugh! We backed off on solids and will try to introduce them close to 6 months:) The purpose right now is just for her to try some different flavors and textures anyhow!
I love to:
- Be pushed around the house in the stroller, especially when I am fussy. This is a very fussy stage- not sleeping well at all and having reflux still.
- Playing bouncy with Daddy when he picks me up and down in the air.
- Have Emily read to me before bedtime.
I can:
- Hold my head up much better while being supported while sitting and being carried.
- Grab toys
- Pull my burp cloth over my face, but I don't remove it. It is too funny to have my face covered.
My favorites:
- Bath time
- Going for walks inside and outside in my stroller.
- Putting everything in my mouth.
- Sleeping on Mama and Daddy. I do not sleep well at night and I am up constantly wanting to nurse back to sleep.
