On Saturday we went over to Jeff's parents' house to celebrate Butch's birthday with lunch. I got to meet his mom, Debbie, for the first time and Jennifer, his sister. Even though it was the first time meeting Jennifer in this setting, I remember her from the many years that I took our dogs to Village Animal Hospital. It's so funny the memories that I have....I remember her dark eyeliner and I'm pretty sure she had some black jelly bracelets.:)
It's so nice to finally have faces and personalities to put together with the stories that I've heard about everyone. They are a lively group and I was thoroughly entertained the entire time I was there. I'm already looking forward to experiencing the holidays with Jeff's family. Debbie has multiple Christmas trees that she decorates and Jeff has already told me how he's ready for Christmas music after he gets back from the beach in October, so I'm in good company with my love of the holidays.
