We switched up our tradition of last night ice cream and headed to the Sweet Spot for an afternoon treat. It was much nicer not to have to wait in line and the girls enjoyed it just as much! I ended up sneaking a surprise gift in for them once they went to the truck. They had been eyeing some earrings so I bought them before we left.
Jeff and the girls spent a little time on the beach in the morning and Emily found our first shark's tooth ever! She was sitting in the sand and felt it in her hand and picked it up. We've looked so hard to find one every time we are at the beach and it just washed up right next to her!
We did some late night seashell hunting and enjoyed the cool beach after such a hot day. A heat wave began today with temperatures in the upper 90's...not what we wanted while at the beach with a baby.
