Finley had her first day at Christina Snow's (NaNa) in home daycare on Wednesday. As you can see in the pictures she was like a deer in headlights with all of the new sounds and commotion from the other kiddos. Mama has had such anxiety leading up to this day, but thankfully Finley did not cry during drop off. She has been doing better with bottles so that helped the anxiety some too. However, the stress about nap times continue no matter how well she is taken care of...SIDS is just too darn scary! Knowing how much attention Fin needs at home of course makes me worried when she is one of 5 or 8 other kiddos. It is an adjustment and I know with time it will all get better!
I checked on her frequently during the week and NaNa sent pictures pictures during the day as well. As suspected, Finley did not sleep well in the pack n play so we reverted to the swing for her naps and she slept better. She prefers our arms over anything! We were able to still fit in a couple evening walks this week although the days feel so much shorter because of work and an early bedtime.
