Finley's First Snow!

We went to school for one day after winter break before we were blessed with our first snow day!  Even though we awoke to a beautiful sunrise, we knew that some snow would be coming soon. 

Finley took a short nap in her crib before we headed up to Mom's house for a little bit.

This little turkey had her hat on ready for the snow to start!

It only took a few minutes before the snow started to fall.  There is nothing better than looking out of the window at falling snow.

After hanging out with Grandma for a while, we went home for lunch and a nice long nap while the snow continued to fall.

Oh my heart, these sweet baby hands and fingers!

 After Finn's nap, we got all bundled up to go outside and experience the snow for the first time.  She didn't know what to think when I got her all zipped up in her snowsuit. Ha!

 Finn loved looking at the snow on the branches of the trees.

 When I first set her in the snow she kept tipping over backwards...

 She seemed much happier once I took off her hood and put her hat on instead.

After a few minutes, she decided that like everything else, she wanted to put the snow in her mouth.  Since she couldn't use her hands, she kept leaning over trying to put her face in it. :) 

She wasn't happy with me when I wouldn't let her eat it. 

The sun ended up coming out late in the afternoon!
