Nothing better than the glow of Christmas lights and sleepy pups.
My mom and I took Finley out to see some more Christmas lights in the Pelham neighborhood. She loved it so much and did not want to home. There was a family that set up a little spot in their yard for kids to drive by and see Santa and his elves. They were all dressed up with Christmas music blaring and treats to hand out.
Today was Jeff's last day at 11-A. He has been at Station 11 for 15 years other than his one year away at Rescue 18. After the new year he will begin his new position as Battalion Chief and will be stationed at 12. I know it is bittersweet for him. He has had such a great crew the last several years and it will be hard to leave that family. I know he is very excited for this promotion and all of the new responsibilities it will bring. The guys sent him off with a cake that Burkett cut of course. ha!
My Christmas girl matches the presents!
Still getting in my workouts with my little workout buddy in the mornings.
Trying a big pancake for breakfast. One day she will eat more than a couple bites of anything.
She's still excited to see her name on the letter from Santa.
Her nativity animals have been moved all over the house for pretend play.
