This definitely wasn't the birthday that I had expected, but I am just thankful that I am getting a little energy back. Unfortunately, Jeff woke up with COVID and feels awful. :( I had enough energy to make myself a blueberry pie and I actually got out of the house to pick up take out for dinner. This has been a rough 10 days or so and here we go again with Jeff. I am hoping next year we are done with alllll of this nonsense!
I made myself homemade cough syrup - pineapple juice, lemon juice, honey and pepper. This was from my FB post about covid hitting us hard...
Karen Ackerman, who I teach with, dropped off cupcakes and some gifts for me. I was so excited to go outside and talk to another human for a couple of minutes.
Still looing terrible, but out to pick up dinner at least!
Finley helped me open my gifts while Daddy was stuck on the couch all day.
