What a whirlwind weekend! Party and Easter prep on Friday, Finley's birthday party yesterday and Easter today! Thankfully next year they are a week apart.
Finley got up early as usual and was very excited to see her Easter basket on the kitchen table. It is no surprise that she immediately wanted to have some of her chocolate bunny. I was surprised at how excited she was about her little bird whistle and necklace. We also go right into the bunny game and the bunny bubble machine.
Afterwards we went outside for an egg hunt. Emily and Hailey helped to fill the eggs with her favorite - Hershey kisses and Reese's cups, stickers, little dinosaur toys, etc. Finn found most of her eggs very quickly, but wanted to open each one up as she went.
After our hunt, we made a yummy pancake breakfast! My mom came down after Finley's nap and we took some pictures, had our Easter meal, and opened YaYa's Easter baskets too! Whew, I was ready for a nap after all of that!
