Carter's Mountain 2014

Don't mind the mismatched clothes
Saturday was a beautiful day to be up on the mountain.  Although the wind was a little much at times, I loved the fall weather. Jennie, Landon, and Cameron met Hailey and I to do some apple picking.  The kiddos weren't too excited about the picking part, but ended up having a good time anyhow.  Of course we all had to get apple cider donuts and apple cider while we were up there.  I ended up eating 4 doughnuts in one day, whoops!  We saved some doughnuts for my parents, Evan, and Jeff as well.

After a couple hours on the mountain, Hailey and I went to Station 11 to visit Jeff.  Hailey was quite shy when we got there, but I managed to get her on the engine to check it out.  I think she really was interested in everything going on, but was a little overwhelmed with a new place and new people.  It was so nice to meet a few guys on Jeff's shift and get an idea of what work is like for him.

So windy up there

This girl actually wanted her picture taken

That would be a sour smile from the granny smith she was eating

Luckily I didn't have to walk too far down the hill

Cray Cray wasn't too happy to be apple picking
After Carter's Mountain we went to Kroger to get some groceries and a cheap pumpkin.  Somehow we ended up with a cute Halloween kitty as well.
