Mom and I spent some time at school on Friday preparing tutus and a banner for Hailey's 7th birthday party. The tutus weren't difficult to make, but I could have done without the constant cutting of tulle.
I didn't do as much as I usually do for her birthday parties, but it was just enough for the girls to enjoy without costing too much money.
Rich and Whitney joined my parents and Jeff and I for the party. It was a really nice time and the girls had all day to play together and be silly. Thanks to Jeff for helping me clean and cook Saturday morning while the girls played. We made some deviled eggs and baked beans and my parents brought over some Chic-Fil-A nuggets, sweet tea, and cole slaw. Perfect party food and not difficult to prepare.
Hailey scored in the gift department with a new coat and monster high shirt, lots of monster high dolls, DVDs, a MH make up kit, Legos, and a Barbie puppy to take care of. Both girls were tired by the time they went home at 8:00 pm. I think I might have been a little worn out too. ;)
