While Jeff finished off painting all the main living areas (walls, doors, and trim!) Hailey and I baked an apple pie out of the fresh apples that we picked at Carter's Mountain. We also put some turkey chili in the crockpot, baked some gluten-free corn bread, and baked a pumpkin pie. I felt like all I did all day was make one mess and clean it up to make another one, but Hailey and I had a good time.
Jeff did an awesome job painting. The house is looking so much better, fresh and clean! He has given up hunting to spend several days working long hours, so I couldn't be more thankful.
Emily wanted to come over and hang out for a couple hours, so the girls enjoyed some playtime and mac 'n cheese and broccoli for dinner followed by pumpkin pie. They had fun looking at Hailey's baby pictures too. :)
