Thursday, July 14th-
MeeMee and PawPaw came over for their last day at the beach. Before anyone else woke up, Jeff and I had our coffee and went to look for seashells. I found a very cool tiny conch shell completely intact and a nice olive. Who doesn't love early mornings or late evenings on the beach?
The girls spent some more time in the water today, but also spent a lot of time making more sand food. It was low tide in the morning so Jeff and I ventured way out in the ocean, but didn't find the sandbar that we were looking for. There were several people further down the beach that were way out on one though. After some time on the beach we had hotdogs for lunch and then headed back out for an afternoon on the sand. It was a hot one today and windy, so we ended up taking the tent down and heading in a little early to shower up and head to Willis's to pick out dinner.
We picked out some fresh scallops, shrimp, and Spanish mackerel for dinner. The girls had some fried chicken with MeeMee.

After dinner it was time for me to kick everyone's butt in ladderball again. I didn't waste anytime, winning 11 games in a row. It's almost like the more I drank, the better I played. ;) The girls played some games as well and went on a walk on the beach with MeeMee. After I wore out the boys in ladderball, we moved on to cornhole on the porch where we had lights. We had a ton of fun other than the wind blowing everything around.
