Finley is pretty content in her swing and bouncy seat when she needs a break during the day. It's crazy how much more alert she is becoming each day. She just started staring at the mobile in her swing and loves looking at the toys and listening to the sounds in the bouncy seat.

I have been pumping once in the morning after Finley's feeding and have definitely been making progress with the amount pumped. This morning I got 4 ounces total which is great for this early. Finley has been better with her once a day bottle feeding as well. Goodness she eats so much faster with a bottle than nursing...almost convinced me to just pump exclusively. We will hang in there a while longer though.

I got finally loaded up in the Ergo carrier and we got our steps in this morning. I was surprised at how comfortable the carrier was and little girl slept the entire walk away. I sweated my face off with her strapped to me!
It's Derby Weekend! We won't be throwing down the drinks this weekend, but we will be celebrating with plenty of food! For the Oaks we had teriyaki chicken sandwiches and salads, but the menu for tomorrow will be much more....

Little Miss has been fighting her swaddle at night. She's also been moving from the middle of the pack n play to the side somehow. I know she makes plenty of noises throughout the night, but the movement is crazy. She kicks her legs, grunts, laughs, snorts, etc.
The last two nights she has slept for 6 hours straight! Woot woot! Go Finley girl! She has also been great about eating and going right back to sleep. Fingers crossed that she continues this trend.
