Mother's Day 2020

Here's a picture from my Mom's first Mother's Day with me! 

Jeff took some time to make a fun craft for me from Finley!  He wasn't happy with her hand print because of course she moved when he put it down, but that is exactly as it should be! I love it just as it is! 

I got some new kicks to workout in and I love the colors!  A day full of working out, walking, playing outside, reading and some of my favorite foods was just what I needed.  I also got some shoes for working outside in the yard.  

Of course the pictures did not come out nearly as good as what we saw in real life, but as we were walking we saw this beautiful rainbow in the clouds. 

We walked up to Grandma's house and delivered her a big bag of birdseed as part of her Mother's Day present.

I got to spend some time reading and relaxing in the sunshine during Finn's nap.  

I love this potato salad and it is super easy to make!

Imagine what happens when you want to take a picture with your daughter for Mother's Day?  haha  This is Finn on every other day of the year, so it is only fitting that she wouldn't let Jeff take a picture of her smiling with me. 

Grandma came down for gifts and dinner and got to play with Finn. 

My mom made me this beautiful book of Finley's first year.  I love it!  The extra thick pages make it so nice.
