This Father's Day was bittersweet and one of those roadblocks that I knew I just had to get through. It was especially difficult knowing that I couldn't text or call my dad for the first time in 38 years to wish him a happy father's day. The distraction of having Emily around, celebrating with Jeff and going to Jeff's parents house was needed but difficult as well.
I'm so thankful to have this wonderful man and father in my life! So thankful in fact, that I bought him a tank top that we often make fun of in the stores! I will say we've both taken a liking to it and he wears it often at home:)
The girls both made me cards and some for my mom to let us know that they were thinking about us on this difficult day which was so thoughtful and sweet.
