Balusters Up and Knee Wall Work

Oh my goodness, the brain explosion that is happening right now!  Finley has enjoyed playing with these little zoo animals so I lined them up and we practiced their names for literally five minutes.  In that short amount of time she was able to point out each of the animals and hand each one by name to me.  It is so wild how much she can learn in such a short amount of time!

She is also able to pick out the letter "A" in her books correctly and sometimes she can find "B."  We are starting to work on the colors red, blue, yellow and green now.

We have seen two different fawns so far this year.  One tiny one was out with the mama and this one was hanging out by itself around Suzi's house for quite a while this morning.

After some frustration with how the balusters first looked, we decided to move the bottom rail down and make the balusters all the same length.  I think they look great now!

This is the face that I get to see oh so often at 11:00 pm, 1:00 am and 3 or 4:00 am.  We still haven't figured out what wakes her up so often, but it is pretty much like clockwork each night.

Silly girl loves playing with the heart from her monthly calendar blanket.

We've practiced our drawing a little more and we're planning Dada's Father's Day artwork.

The rain....So, so tired of the cloudy rainy wet weather we've been having.  I decided I should blow up Finley's baby pool and at least give her something new to do inside.

After all of this time, she is finally showing some interest in her stuffed animals.  She looks so old sitting on the mattress playing with them before bedtime!

I am loving Finley's new pajamas - strawberries and the other set has whales.   We finally moved to 18 month pjs, but the feet are still enormous.

I've been kicking up my workouts a notch or two.  I've started doing the Prep plus MM and I am loving both of them for different reasons!

Jeff knocked out the framing of the knee wall today.  The six inch drop for runoff did not make it a quick task.
