Dig, Dig, and Dig Some More

Stage 1 of prep for concrete under our screened in porch and deck involves lots and lots of digging! It took Jeff about three days to get everything dug out and level.

I can't help but take pictures of these blue eyes in the morning sun!

We have broccoli and strawberries coming in now.  I tried a new type of strawberry and the flowers are red!

That is one big pile of dirt and one hurting back!

Emily has been helping out some when Finley is going to bed.  She loves to be read to by whomever will do it!

We have to visit Dada outside when he is taking a break.  We've put the swing up a couple times when it wasn't too dusty, just to have a change of scenery.

Jeff usually takes care of most dinners because Finley is usually getting fussy by that time.  I've been stepping up my cooking game while he is outside each day.  We had some drumsticks, mixed veggies, and coconut jasmine rice.

Marley and Jack are loving the shade outside while Jeff works.

Before bedtime fun on the deck...

Tonight Finn was out before I could put her in her crib.

This girl is on the move.  She will be unstoppable soon!

Barbecue chicken and swiss sandwich that I made Jeff during his lunch break.

The girls have been asking for oatmeal cream pies and everytime I've gone to the store they have been out.  I finally got my hands on some and broke down and decided to have one myself.  Finley saw and immediately wanted a taste.  She was NOT happy when she finished her small bite and wanted more.  Ha!

She loves to watch Dada and the dogs from the deck.

Ahhhh, my peonies make me so happy!

Wild, messy baby after dinnner!
