Emerald Isle 2020- Day 5
Instead of playing on the beach this morning, we decided to go for a walk because we wanted to be at Wings at 8:00 am when they opened. Each year we get the girls sweatshirts and something for Finley. COVID made our trip to the store a little different from usual. Luckily there was no one in the store at that time and we were able to pick out a couple things and get out.
On our way back from Wings, we stopped at the fish market one last time and got take out from The Fish Hut. The girls love their chicken tenders and honey mustard. Jeff and I got grouper sandwiches which are always delicious!
The girls wanted to do a photo shoot during our afternoon time at the beach. They pinned a bunch of ideas from Pinterest and tried to replicate them. As with most things on Pinterest, the ideas were harder to replicate than they thought they would be.
Example 1- pretty sure their example didn't have big chunks of sand, but they still had fun doing it.
After Finley woke up from her nap, Jeff brought her down for some time on the beach since we missed our time in the morning.
After dinner it was time to put on the new beach wear and take some pictures. The girls lived in their sweatshirts from the time they came out of the dryer until we got back from the beach.
We watched several military planes and helicopters throughout the week. As soon as we heard them coming, we had to run out on the deck for Finn to see them.
