We spent Easter morning playing like usual and saved Finley Easter basket for after her morning nap. It is no surprise that she went for the books before anything else.
She loved the carrot teether that she got and carried it around with her all morning.
The shaker eggs were also a hit. She likes to shake two at a time and then hit the eggs together.
Just like Christmas wrapping paper, she enjoyed pulling all of the grass out and shaking it just as much as her gifts.
It is hard to see in this picture but she go her first baby doll from Grandma. She has not been much on soft toys or stuffed animals, but she started carrying her baby around with her. :)
The one thing that was NOT a hit was this singing dancing duck. She was completely fine playing with it in these pictures because it was not turned on. The minute we turned it on she crawled as fast as possible to us and climbed up holding on tight. Haha! I had to turn it off and put it away for now.
We spent the rest of the day taking Finn outside every time she would point at the door and yell. She is a demanding little turkey. She wants to see the trees blow in the wind and look at the birds outside. It is not good enough to stand on the deck most times and we actually have to go out in the yard! We took a nice long walk in the afternoon before it got cloudy and cool.
You can't leave this girl anywhere without an eye on her...always trying to make an escape!
I had to get a couple pictures of her playing in the mirror showing off her bunny tail on the outfit that Grandma bought her.
These two are something else at bedtime. Finn runs away when she sees us getting her diaper out and often wants us to read the same three books a million times. We try to keep our play calm, but Jeff is always throwing her red ball so she likes to join in and lay on top of him while he is playing.
It is hard to believe that next Easter Finn will be running around looking for eggs!
