I can't believe this blue eyed girl is going to be 1 year old tomorrow! I think I spent the majority of the day looking at her face trying to memorize it. :)
We had a fun day of playing, reading, and trying some goldfish crackers.
Those wet eyelashes will get you every time.
Finley has recently started rolling over on her belly when she doesn't want to do something. When I try to change her diaper, put her pajamas on or get ready to put her to bed she flops on her belly and refuses to move. I try not to laugh but it is pretty funny.
Sweet girl's last night falling asleep on Mama as a baby...Over the last couple of weeks I've been putting her in her crib awake to make sure she can soothe herself and it has worked out so easily. She is usually out in 1 or 2 minutes. Tonight she had different plans...maybe she was excited about her birthday?! She was quite upset so I got her out of the crib and nursed her to sleep. I'm thankful that we got to spent that time together and I was able to capture her sweet sleeping face. :)
When I have said my evening prayers,
And all my clothes are on the chair,
And Mama switches off the light,
I'll still be 11 months old tonight,
But from the very break of day,
Before the children rise and play,
Before the darkness turns to gold,
Tomorrow I'll be ONE year old!
One kiss when I wake.
One candle on my cake. 🎂
